No, not at all. The Grand Finale is a large room with a shallow lake in
it. At the back of the room is a "dry", narrow slot through flowstone that
goes down maybe 10 feet total to a lower room with a pool and continuing very
low-air passage. Water used to flow this way and came out in the main passage
of Honey Creek near Yo Mama. However we notched a rimstone dam upstream to
drain a sump and now water normally flows a different way, so that only flood
water now goes this way. The two pools are indeed vertically separated, but
only because one is perched at a higher level. This is no different than any
other place in a cave where flowing water goes down a series of cascades
through pools, except that in this case the cascade wraps back under itself.
No diving is required unless the cave is in flood.
