That sounds fair Bill, do you have paypal or would you prefer a check/money order mailed?

Also, if you ever do anymore web hosting or buy a domain, stay away from network solutions, they charge way too much and you really don't get anything more for that extra cost, just a bit of advice.

I like your Philosophy about the rules :)

Who did the web page design? It's simple, but very nice looking, and loads very fast.

Charles,
I calculated at 2 years and roughly 4 months left on the domain
registration and I am estimating that $70.00 would be a fair price. What do
you think? Here is my information on this link listed below:

http://www.caver.net/donations.html

Also keep in mind that at TCR, Allen Cobb will take up collections and I got
a little over $60.00 last year to help pay for hosting costs.
The TSA would probably chip in too if asked... I always preferred to keep it
low key and paid out of my pocket for all of this...Also keeps anyone from
having a say so in policies. But you are free to do as you please.
Philosophy: And you might ( as a suggestion) place the following on the web
site "The only rules are that there are no rules!" Keep it civil and don't
be an ASS!
Just my thoughts...

Oh and go ahead and proceed on the transfer of the domain... Let me know on
the DNS and I will do the transfer when ever you like for now.

Thanks,
Bill

Bill, I use directnic.com for my hosting, and here is there info on a
transfer:

An authorization email will be sent to the e-mail address listed for the
administrative contact in the WHOIS records for the domain being
transferred. This email includes a URL with verification codes. Go to
the URL and enter the codes. Some registrars, such as Network Solutions
and Register.com, will also send their own authorization emails to the
domain administrative contact. Please confirm with them as soon as you
receive the authorization email. The transfer process can take up to 10
days to complete.

This seems very simple and straightforward. Let me know what the cost
from your end will be and I'll get this started.

I'll keep this between us, so no worries.

The first thing I'm going to do is transfer the working dns to my
server, and get things working there, that way I can just change a dns
setting the night that I move the list over to my server. Once I have
things working smoothly there, I'll let you know to cancel your
webhosting account. I'll get this all working before the end of the

month.

It's been so long since I've transfered a domain, what does that
entail?
Thanks
Charles

Yes I can have it download it to me currently and it will be current

that moment.
The domain is registered to me through network solutions and you can

either

use it....( I transfer the DNS) or purchase it from me for exactly
what
I

have in it and then have it transferred as a new ownership to you... I

will

cooperate how ever is best for you.

Here is the current set up hosted with webnet hosting solutions for

$7.95 a

month (can be bought cheaper for a year at a time)
Please, this is confidential and I trust you won't pass it around...

Also

you will note the mail list software is very limited...

Name texascavers.com
Address 65.109.82.240
Username caveman
Password nKTmgiLd

You can access your Control Panel by going to
http://65.109.82.240/menu
The above is good for FTP as well

It is paid until end of February at present.
Holler if you have any more questions.
Thanks,

Bill
