Q1         Arjuna possessed Gandiv,Karna had nothing. Why is Karna considered
as a warrior as much as Arjuna orbetter than him?

A1          Dushyant Singh  Have read Critical Edition of MB Tue

Arjun is the greatest Warrior of Mahabharat (Exception are there), butKarna is
also the greatest challenger to Arjun

Karn had  the Vijaya Bow,VasaviDart, Nagastra, Kavach-Kundala and most of the
weapons possessed by Arjun.

Even Lord Krishna praised him.

‘“Vasudeva said, ‘O Radheya! You have served brahmanas who are learned inthe
Vedas. Free of jealousy and attentively, you have asked them about thetruth. O
Karna! You know the eternal teachings of the Vedas. You know about thesacred
texts of dharma and their subtleties.

And he equalized Arjun on 17th day of war which proves he was at least agood
challenger for Arjun.

Q3         What are some amazingthings and facts about the human body?

A3          Tiny Nair Cardiologistat PRS Hospital, Trivandrum Thu

Policing Norms.

Unlike property division, mostcell divisions are smooth and hassle-free. But
once-in-a-while things go wrong; resulting in ‘cell-mutation’. But have nofear.

The ‘abnormal’ mutated cell isquickly destroyed by body’s mechanism; driven by
a ‘Tumor Suppressor Gene P 53, situated in Chromosome 17. If this gene is
defective or lazy, the mutated cell may go on dividing, producing more rowdy
cells; resulting in dreaded cancer.

A defect of this gene results in a disease called ‘Li Froumeni Syndrome’where
the sufferer gets multiple type of cancers in a very young age.

Normal humans, unfortunately, have just one copy of this gene, which iskind of
inadequate ‘security service’ for the 30 trillion cells that we harborin
ourselves.

In contrast, Elephants have 20 copies of this strong ‘Z-Categorysecurity’ of P
53 gene; making elephants almost cancer-free. Yes, you've read it right;
elephants almost neverget cancer.

‘A stricter police force can ensure a trouble-free environment.’

Fake Images

Did you get upset because your phone screen gets locked before you couldscroll
the OTP, or jot down that address?

Well, your eyes do just that ifexposed to an uniform white or black background
for a while. It gets upset, angry and so confused that it starts creating
‘false’ images of its own byamplifying background ‘visual noise’. You start
hallucinating, seeing colors.

This can happen to pilotsflying over white arctic where the white sheet of ice
blends with the ‘snowy’white sky, seamlessly, blurring the horizon. It happens
to miners trapped in dark mines for long. Medically, this hallucination itis
known as ‘Ganzfeld Effect’.

‘Don’t always believe what yousee’

Ugly under the thin hood

Beauty, as perceived by human eye is somehow connected to symmetry. Abeautiful
face, eyes, eyebrow, lips; everything symmetric is perceived asbeautiful and
cute to the observer. This is considered an ingrained traitto look for flawless
partner, who is likely to be a better reproductive mate;for the genes to
propagate.

A smaller eye, a squint, or a facial asymmetry is not perceived asbeauty. After
all it is just a scar that makes the difference between the‘Joker’ and the
‘Batman’.

But open up a human body and itis totally asymmetric. Like a suitcase packed in
haste an hour before thetravel; stuff like heart is packed on the left side,
liver on the right, intestines coiled in the available place; even lungs have
different number oflobes between right and left.arteries passing between
nerves, hooking veins, dipping under tendons, connected to pulleys; not
something that would make Steve Jobshappy. human body is like a bag; packed
well enough to be accepted ashand-baggage and pass security; but not nice
enough if you are asked to open it up inpublic.

Consider functionality. Right handed persons will use right hand to punch, left
cerebral hemisphere tothink (artists use the right one too), and the right eye
to peep through a keyhole.

May be God didn’t agree to the philosophy of Steve Jobs that the insideof the
‘Apple Mac’ should be as beautiful as the outside.

Beauty is skin deep-

End-Note Human Body is trulyAmazing.

It reminds us of the need of a stricter police force, ban fake ‘visual’images
and change perception of beauty.

Difficult; I agree. Butisn’t that the solution of most of our social problems
too?

My note- Dr Tiny nair is a goodwriter also. Those  read his previousanswer
would have already noted it.

(2020–present)Updated Wed

When I was in High School, my father used to ask me to clean and dust offhis
motorcycle whenever he goes out for work.

10 years later, today I'm 24, and recently got a job. So I have to stayaway
from home, but not far, around 45km. I go to my home every weekend andreturn to
my workplace every Sunday evening.

My bonding with my dad is justlike every other father and son. We don't usually
talk much unless it'ssomething of important matter.

And he is always worried whenever I drive and always tells me to drivesafely
and slowly.

Today, when I was packing my bag and getting ready to leave, I saw my dad
cleaning my bikeand helmet with a towel.

That's what made me smile today. For me, it's just pure love. I wish I could
tell him how much I love him.

Q13       What is the importance ofdrinking water?

A13         Water keeps our organs functioning well, it lubricates and cushions
our joint, and it regulatesour body temperature and metabolism.

Moreover, water flushes toxinsand waste from the body and transports nutrients
to where they are needed.

Without water, the contents of your colon can dry out and get stuck, eventually
causing constipation. Water is anatural lubricant that softens stool and
promotes evacuation of the bowels.

Water is also important to kidneysystems. Our kidney system is unique in its
filtering capabilities and totally dependent upon water in order for it towork.
The kidneys removewaste products from the blood, eliminate toxic substances in
the urine, andreceive water-soluble toxins from the liver for processing.
They filter voluminous amounts of blood each day and in doing so maintainthe
body’s water balance and excrete toxins and excess fluid through thebladder.
Daily fluidintake is essential for our bodies to function efficiently.
Q14         Can oxygen travel through concrete?

A14          Anubhav Bansal, Pharmacist at IMPEX (2021-present)Answered 1h ago

No. Because concrete contains no space at all , that's why roads and bridges
are made from reinforced concerned cement

Oxygen has no chance to go through concrete if there is gap found between space
of road and bridges, which I think is kept deliberately so that oxygen can
remain in environment but there is no chance of passage of oxygen through
concrete if there is no space left.
My note- It is observed water dropping from ceiling concrete even after a week
is over rain.  If drain drops can fall, oxygen/ air can also pass through
concrete.  Responses from learnt members  are welcome
