Q1 Reality is not gossiping. Fading is avoidable and subjective. " If
you're the type of person that tends to ignore clothing labels or just
throws all your laundry in the washer with a cup of detergent and calls it
good, then your clothes are suffering. Those red biker shorts that your
girlfriend told you to toss is going to become pink. That slinky black
dress that makes you feel like Beyoncé is going to turn gray. All is not
lost, though. You can save your favorite garments by following these simple
laundry tips.
1. 1 For the love of all that is washable, look at the tag. Those
washing instructions on your shirt's tag aren't just to make you
itchy. They're
there to let you know how to wash the garment so that it will have a long
and colorful life. Read the instructions and follow them.
2. 2 If you absolutely need to wash all of your garments together
because you only have enough quarters for one load, then wash in cold
water. Warm water breaks down fibers, which can cause fading and cold
water prevents colors from bleeding. For the best results, choose a laundry
soap that is made to work well with cold water washes. { I still have
my 1972 shirt and suit as if bought yesterday after so many washes and iron)
3. 3 Separate lights from darks. Dark items, no matter what you do,
tend to bleed color a little when you wash them. This bleed can turn a
bright orange pair of leggings into a rusty, faded color, for instance. So,
always wash darks with darks, lights with lights and wash whites separately.
4. 4 Use the right soil settings on your washer. If your clothes
aren't very dirty, don't click on the heavy wash option just to make
sure they get extra clean. All you're doing is putting extra wear and tear
on your garment, which will make it fade much faster.
5. 5 Skip the dryer as much as possible. The tumbling of the dryer
makes the surface of garment fibers rough, which in turn makes the colors
appear faded, even if they aren't.
6. 6 Skip washing all-together. The more you wash an item, the more
faded it becomes. If you've only worn a garment for a few hours, don't toss
it in the washer. Hang it up and let it air out. Or never wash them. Levi
Strauss CEO Chip Bergh says to never machine wash jeans
<http://www.cnn.com/2014/05/22/living/dont-wash-jeans-levis-ceo/> and
just spot clean them with a sponge.
7. 7 Turn your garments inside out. { 99% do not do this at all} This
protects the outer fibers from wearing down when you wash. Worn fibers
equally fade, and since no one sees the inside of your garments, it's no
big deal if they wear a little more.
8. 8 Add a fabric conditioner to your wash. Think of a fabric
conditioner like a magical force field. It lubricates the fibers of the
fabric during the wash, so they don't wear down as easily. Once again, wear
equals fading, so anything you can use to prevent friction is a good thing.
9. 9 Add half a cup of vinegar (118.3 milliliters) to each wash load
to prevent fading. As a bonus, vinegar acts as a natural fabric softener
<https://www.cnet.com/pictures/9-alternative-uses-for-distilled-vinegar/3/>
and
the smell washes away with the rinse cycle. { Our apple, epsum, Jamun
etc essence is a local vinegar; patanjali and Kerala ayurveda sells all
these too}
10. 10 While you're adding cooking ingredients to your load, add a half
a cup of salt (118.3 milliliters) to a new garment's very first wash to
lock in the color and prevent bleeding. Color fading is totally
avoidable; by hand wash of a few clothes they can be preserved.
11. Q2 Is there really any Kidney friendly food?. NO. Kidney and
heart {brain is different] do work all the 24 by 7; sao they become old,
older and the oldest; there is no refurbication, but only an elongation of
time to become older. Protein need is low in our system; but the gym owners
would advocate such foods only; protein is not sent out but converted as
fats along the inner muscle of the stomach; without proper exercises one
develops fatty liver. Salt is another. Junk oil is one more; Kidney
functions only as a necking out unwanted elements which human happiness,
consumed, without any etiquette. The kidneys work in time shifts. GOD gave
a few things in excess and one is 2 kidneys. Excretions cools the body and
one can survive without ingress for some long limits; but without
excretions, end is the end. So sattva guna food is good for the system
including the Kidneys. {B G describes such food)
12. Q4 All food that is possessing extension of life has to be kept
under conditions at the place of cooking. But SATHU MAVU AND cHAPPATHI DRY
exist not only for a long time but also for the displacement of persons.
Apart from anything, GOD had thought over all and installed fruits on the
branches and under the earth, preserving with vitality, edible
continuously as a supplement for all the needs of the body and lasting
forever.
13. Q5 Why Canada; in many cold countries wood sustains the HEAT AND
CORROSION. fROZEN COOLED SAND WILL NOT ALLOW THE CELLS TO EAT AWAY. But
in humid conditions nowadays we have wooden floorings?!.Residences are
built only according to the needs and availability of materials. Concrete
is a recent one; we found hard sustainable stuff long ago.
14. Q6 Best and worst questions at 60+ is a factor to while-away.
ONEMAN'S FOOD IS ANOTHER MAN'S POISON. LOKO BINNA RUCHI. Ladies want to
hide their body; and the same sect wants to expose byu tearing off the
pants and shirts. The self-imaginations is the disease of the human being;
idiots think they are genius and pretend; black color lady wants to wear
dark dresses; ignorant women speaks in debates equality is dictatable
creed; all the thinking ends bitterly, one day when there are no one nearby
to hear their woe; from MUD into MUD; Rig veda cycle of life is preached
the time of burying by the christians. Constitution is a gift; differs from
person to person according to the karma; my father in law a sumptuous
eater in varieties, who was diagnosed Diabetic at hi 61, and advised system
of food and tablets, ate as usual, but made walking more than 5 miles a
day; he used to walk from Mambalam to Mylapore to see his friends around 3
PM and return bak by 8 PM, almost all the days; he took no medicine; never
subjected himself to any test; morning 3 hrs puja; an astrologer as a hobby

sedimentary rock life added with dirty habits alone makes the doctors so
rich and sick later. SELF REALISATION FROM THE YOUTH IS NEEDED AND SHALL
WEIGH THE PLUS AND MINUS OF THE SYSTEM. NO PRETENSIONS PLEASE.
15. q7 Main purpose of the circuit breaker is not only preventing
fire; fire can be caused by the frictions; frictions can occur even in
mechanical objects; Phase changer is the main concept. This facility was
extinct once; now unless the breakdown is total, comfort can be switched
into.
16. Q8 *Avocado Oil*
Unlike most other fruits, it’s rich in healthy fats and is often used to
produce avocado oil. Though not as well known as olive oil
<https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/extra-virgin-olive-oil>, this oil
is just as delicious. Avocado oil also has numerous health benefits,
largely related to its content of antioxidants and healthy fats
<https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/10-super-healthy-high-fat-foods>.
*1. Rich in oleic acid, a very healthy fat*
*2. Reduces cholesterol and improves heart health*
*3. High in lutein, an antioxidant that has benefits for the eyes*
*4. Enhances the absorption of important nutrients*
*5. May reduce symptoms of arthritis*
*6. Improves skin and enhances wound healing*
*7. Rich in antioxidants*
*8. Very easy to use*
*The bottom line* Avocado oil is delicious, nutritious, and easy to
use. It’s rich in oleic acid (a monounsaturated fat), polyunsaturated
fats, carotenoids, and other antioxidant-rich nutrients that are linked to
improved heart, skin, and eye health. You can easily add it to your diet
in a salad, as part of a dip or marinade, or as a replacement for most
other plant oils. If you’re looking to switch things up, give avocado oil
a try.

Avocado oil and butter are produced from the avocado fruit. Avocado (*Persea
americana Mill*.) is native to Central America; the largest producing
countries include Mexico, Dominican Republic, Peru, Colombia, Indonesia,
Kenya and Brazil. The avocado belongs to the plant family *Lauraceae* and
its name comes from the Aztec word ‘ahuacatl’, which refers to its oval
shape.
Food ingredients like avocado are making their way into cosmetics and
personal care products mainly because of their fatty acids content. Avocado
oil also contains vitamins A, E and D.

The bulk of avocado oil is extracted by relatively harsh methods (high
temperature and solvent extraction), typically followed by standard
refining steps (refining, bleaching, and deodorizing). The development in
the twenty-first century was that of successful cold-pressing of avocado
fruit by using technologies similar to those used to produce extra-virgin
olive oil. This successful development was led by New Zealand, and its
commercialization started in 2000. The demand for information by New
Zealand commercial entities has driven much of the research on cold-pressed
avocado oil, which we have published in various forms (e.g., Ashton et al.,
2006; Wong et al., 2008), and we present additional unpublished material
here.

If you’re allergic to avocados, you will be allergic to avocado oil.
People who also have either birch pollen or latex allergies are more likely
to be allergic to avocados. Consult with a doctor before consuming avocado
oil if you have either of these conditions. Avoid avocado oil if you’re

Avocado oil seems to be the most popular as it has high concentrations
of potassium and vitamin E, which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory
properties that protect the cardiovascular system. Lutein found in
unrefined avocado oil prevents macular degeneration with age, thus
helping with vision. It is also high in monounsaturated fats (70%) and rich
in omega-9 fatty acids that increase HDL, the ‘good’ cholesterol, and
decrease LDL, the ‘bad’ cholesterol.
Other oils that are getting popular include pumpkin seed walnut, almond,
flaxseed, grapeseed and hemp oil. “I don’t use these oils in my regular
cooking as they are expensive.
But I drink a teaspoon of flaxseed oil every now and then as it’s rich
in omega-3 fatty acids and improves heart and skin health,” says vegan chef
Marieen Vijay.
Cookbook author Sabita Radhakrishna feels that, as far as Indian cuisine
is concerned, what was used by our grandparents were right for the kind of
food they cooked. “But with more fusion food becoming popular, the concept
has changed,” she says.
“For instance, olive oil was introduced into the Indian market sometime
ago. I may use virgin olive oil for salads, but not in Indian dishes as it
changes the flavour completely,” says Sabita. “These oils are very
expensive; chefs are using avocado and pumpkin seed oil to make exotic
cuisines and trying to inculcate them into traditional food, to create
fusion food, but I wouldn’t do it. ” “Experiencing novel aromas and tastes
with plant-based oils should be coupled with an understanding of nutrition
and health profile,” says Meenakshi Bajaj, dietician, Government Multi
Super Specialty Hospital. You should also be careful how you use each oil
for cooking.
“Each culinary oil has its own characteristic profile with respect to
smoke point and storage conditions. Few oils are best suited for low-heat
cooking, some can take more heat, and few are best used in salad dressings
and dips,” she says. “Smoke point” is the temperature at which oil loses
its stability, chemical changes take place and starts deteriorating. Oils
with high smoke points (such as avocado, vegetable, peanut and sesame) are
good for frying or highheat stir-frying, while oils with low smoke points
(walnut or flaxseed) are best suited in salad dressings and dips.

Made from the fruit of the coconut palm tree, coconut oil has been
promoted as a better alternative to butter. It is a white solid at room
temperature with a consistency resembling that of butter or shortening
rather than a liquid oil.
Consumers seem to have bought into the hype that it's among the
healthier options, and vegans, who eat no animal fat, may use it as a
butter substitute. In a 2016 survey published in The New York Times, 72
percent of consumers rated coconut oil as a "healthy food" compared with 37
percent of nutrition experts. [Dieters, Beware: 9 Myths That Can Make
You Fat
<https://www.livescience.com/35409-nine-diet-myths-that-could-make-you-gain-weight-110125.html>
]

Nutrition experts, in contrast, noted that coconut oil is high in
saturated fat (92 percent), and recommended using it only sparingly. In
fact, coconut oil has more saturated fat than the same amount of butter or
lard.
There is also limited science to back up marketers' claims that coconut
oil is much better for the heart than butter is. After evaluating all of
the studies available, a 2016 review published in the journal Nutrition
Reviews found that people who consumed coconut oil had higher total and LDL
cholesterol levels than those who consumed unsaturated fats, although the
levels were a bit lower than in the people who used butter.
The review authors concluded that there is little evidence that coconut
oil has any benefit to heart health compared with other types of saturated
fat, such as butter or palm oil
<https://www.livescience.com/43962-deforestation-free-palm-oil.html>.
After conducting a similar review, the 2017 advisory report from the
American Heart Association did not recommend the use of coconut oil. The
panel concluded that coconut oil "increases LDL cholesterol, a known cause
of heart disease
<https://www.livescience.com/48969-heart-disease-diabetes-risks-carbohydrate-saturated-fat.html>,
and has no known offsetting favorable effects."
Summing it up, Lichtenstein, who served on the AHA's panel, said that
coconut oil does not have any unique heart-health benefits, and its "halo
effect
<https://www.livescience.com/42039-celebrity-health-advice-brain.html>"
— meaning its perception by the public as a healthful food — is probably
not justified from a scientific perspective. There is not any reason to use
coconut oil rather than unsaturated oils, and there are potentially
disadvantages from its high content of saturated fat, she said.
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
*Peanut oil*
Among cooking oils, peanut oil has the highest monounsaturated fat
<https://www.livescience.com/20429-good-fats-good-brain.html> content —
about half (49 percent). Peanut oil has a similar percentage of
polyunsaturated fat (33 percent) to canola oil, another mostly
monounsaturated fat.
Its percentage of saturated fat (18 percent) is higher than that of
other vegetable oils, but not to the point that it's a concern for heart
health
<https://www.livescience.com/58391-moderate-drinking-heart-health.html>,
and it still has less saturated fat than coconut or palm oils, Lichtenstein
said.
A flavorful oil with a pale color and nutty aroma, peanut oil can
withstand high heat and is a good choice for cooking Asian-inspired meals
and stir-fries, according to food experts.
*Sesame oil*
Often used in Asian, Indian and Middle Eastern cooking, sesame oil is a
good mix of polyunsaturated fat (46 percent) and monounsaturated fat (40
percent), Lichtenstein said. The remaining 14 percent is saturated fat.
It's not usually used as a cooking fat and is used more for its intense
flavoring, she noted. [Tip of the Tongue: The 7 (Other) Flavors Humans
May Taste <https://www.livescience.com/17782-sixth-taste-flavors.html>]
Sesame oil lends a nutty flavor to any dish, especially toasted sesame
oil, which has a darker color and bolder flavor. Refrigerate sesame oil
after opening it.
*Sunflower oil*
Advertisement
Light in color and neutral in flavor, sunflower oil has one of the
highest concentrations of polyunsaturated fat (69 percent) among cooking
oils. It supplies some monounsaturated fat (20 percent) and is low in
saturated fat (11 percent), making it an overall heart-healthy
<https://www.livescience.com/58308-healthiest-arteries-tsimane-amazon.html>
option.
Sunflower oil is a good all-purpose oil because it can withstand high
cooking temperatures.
Shoppers may also see "high-oleic" versions of sunflower or canola oils
on supermarket shelves or high-oleic oils listed on the ingredient lists of
processed foods. These oils have been modified to be richer in oleic acid,
which boosts their levels of monounsaturated fat.
High-oleic sunflower oil, for example, would have a fatty acid profile
that would more closely resemble an oil that is mainly monounsaturated fat,
like olive oil, than it would conventional sunflower oil.
Food manufacturers are turning to high-oleic oils as replacement for
trans fats, which are hydrogenated oils that can extend processed foods'
shelf life, according to nutrition experts. As manufacturers eliminate
their use of unhealthy trans fats, high-oleic oils have taken their place
because these mostly monounsaturated fats are more shelf-stable than
polyunsaturated fats.
Four studies have compared the heart-health effects
<https://www.livescience.com/52754-eating-heart-healthy-foods.html> of a
diet rich in conventional sunflower oil, a polyunsaturated fat, with a diet
rich in canola oil, which has more monounsaturated fat. The researchers
concluded that sunflower oil and canola oil had similar effects: Both
reduced people's levels of total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, according
to a 2013 review of those studies, published in the journal Nutrition
Reviews.
*Vegetable oil*
Historically, vegetable oil has typically been soybean oil, Carson said.
But these days, the term also may be used for a blend of different oils,
she noted.
Soybean oil is primarily a polyunsaturated oil (61 percent
polyunsaturated fat, 24 monounsaturated fat and 15 percent saturated fat).
As a bonus, soybean oil contains some omega-3 fats, which are
heart-healthy fats
<https://www.livescience.com/55198-omega-3-fatty-acids-reduce-fatal-heart-attacks.html>
often
found in salmon and sardines, but are less common in plant-based sources of
food.
Vegetable oil made from soybeans is a neutral-tasting oil that does not
have much flavor, Carson said. Nevertheless, it's a versatile, all-purpose
cooking oil for sautéing and frying, or making salad dressings, she said.

>> Q8 What are the major health benefits of avocado oil?
>>
>> A8 Lucia Garcia Worked at Hospitals Fri
>>
>> *Avocado oil is an edible oil extracted from the fleshy pulp surrounding
>> the avocado pit.*
>>
>> Most edible oils come from the seeds of plants, while *avocado oil comes
>> from the pulp of plants. *Avocado oil is the healthiest oil in the world
>> and its nutritional value is much higher than other edible oils.
>>
>> A teaspoon of avocado oil contains about 125 calories and 14 grams of
>> unsaturated fatty acids, without any cholesterol and trans fats.
>>
>> Unsaturated fatty acids can regulate blood lipids, clear blood clots,
>> reduce blood viscosity, and protect the health of cardiovascular and
>> cerebrovascular.
>>
>> Unsaturated fatty acids can also increase the vitality of nerve cells,
>> improve memory function and enhance thinking ability, and play a good role
>> in nourishing the brain and strengthening the brain.
>>
>> It is worth mentioning that The Skin Care Benefits of Avocado Oil Are
>> Unparalleled. According to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
>> survey: more than 50% of cosmetics in the United States contain avocado oil.
>>
>> The unsaturated fatty acids of avocado oil are mainly composed of oleic
>> acid, linoleic acid and palmitoleic acid.
>>
>> These ingredients make avocado oil have excellent skin penetration
>> ability and can be applied directly on the skin, which not only moisturizes
>> the skin, but also penetrates deep into the bottom layer of the skin,
>> increases the elasticity and toughness of the skin, and delays the aging
>> process of the skin.
>>
>> Q9 What happens if a patient was injected with distilled water?
>>
>> A9 Alan Young Residency Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center
>> 1979-1981Sat
>>
>> *Distilled water is hypotonic*. This means it has fewer ions per unit
>> volume than the blood into which it is injected. Our red blood cells abhor
>> this situation and try to restore their isotonic (same number of ions)
>> state. Their external membrane prevents ions from leaving the cell, but
>> does allow water in. In an attempt to have the same concentration of ions
>> inside and outside, *the water enters the cell*. The cell expands until
>> it tears itself apart. This is called *hemolysis, and if it occurs in
>> enough red cells, it is fatal.*
>>
>> *My note- I never knew before, injecting distilled water is so dangerous.*
>>
>> Q10 Will nations start building large scale water pipelines
>> between themselves to deliver water to needed areas?
>>
>> A10 David Thomas Professional Engineer, Civil, Alaska Sat
>>
>> No. As important as it is, water is just too cheap to support the
>> massive pipes (and pumping costs!) that would be needed to transport
>> meaningful volumes on a global scale. Consider all the oil and gas
>> pipelines that DON’T get built for economic reasons and those move much
>> more valuable products.
>>
>> *You also need a country willing to part with their water - it’s much
>> easier to find one that will sue or even fight over it.*
>>
>> Places that have a lot of fresh water (some northern countries) are very
>> far from southern countries that need it.
>>
>> Even, say, from the mouth of the Columbia River on the Oregon/Washington
>> border to Northern California where it could be introduced to a state-wide
>> system of reservoirs and aqueducts has not been done, even though the US
>> Pacific NW has lots of water, California needs water desperately, all
>> parties are technologically capable of mega-projects and California has
>> huge economic power (akin to Germany or India).
>>
>> Here’s a gratuitous photo of me next to some 5-foot-diameter pipe. Such a
>> project would need to be something like 20-foot-diameter (therefore,
>> approximately 4 times the wall thickness) to move meaningful amounts of
>> water to a large population.
