Nothing has improved , rather deteriorated. Writing was a depiction of
something that took place within chennai. Many rich people eat in Mumbai
and on the beach roads of chennai and Calcutta. But many carts have used
oil (hotel sell their used oils) ,rotten eggs and vegetables ( kothawal
chavadi sells at a lower rates) and uncleaned pots ; also they throw the
leaves across the roads where one cannot do any easy morning walk and wash
hands in the middle of the platform; police stations collect mamools. Flies
grow. It is not poverty only. Fast foods so cheap. Available even in the
midnight because of Govt regulations for the hotels. Govt only must be
accused in all. KR IRS 1 10 23
