CULTURAL QA 04202406
Q1 What is the most touching act of kindness you have ever witnessed
or experienced?
KR Afterall returning back Rs 100 is can be said as mean but the
pity is honesty has become a glorious event. Holding what does not belong
to one is named as stealing. Stealing is a taboo and so living accordingly
is dharma; but what does the cashier do? did he come out of his office and
apologised for being rude? And the worst bank ever seen in India is only
SBI where work is tardy, asking the customer to do their job. And may not
be rude since they don’t care for you. Because of a large union and a very
fat salary. Auto drivers returning back the high value jewellery had
appeared in news papers but did we go and congratulated him for his honesty
of denying 5 and 6 figure value? Act of kindness is when one is being
insulted still the insulted caring for the person insulting.
Q2 What are some examples of things that sound right but are actually
wrong?
KR It is to be thought in a different way. 1 As a fools’ day joke to
laugh it out. 2 People are so gullible they perform and publish all
nonsense under the earth without the application of the mind. And finally,
I appreciate so many playing back the joke. {If Jovian Pluto is an apr fool
joke, repeating that they felt is also apr fool joke?}
Q3 What is the special about Dr Shankar Gowda?
KR So many such doctors do exist in India. I myself had written some
time back where 50 paise tablet cured my sinus without even ack a fee as
unneeded by Dr Gopal of Mylapore while Apollo swiped in 10 minutes Rs 10000
Q4 What is the biggest culture shock you have ever faced?
KR Already appeared here; what is the culture shock in these? Have
you not seen coffee shops all over the country where young kids drinking
drinking liquids? And carbonated water is all over the airports available
kept outside and if you ask for water the girl will pull one to you. Why we
drink water? For not only thirst killing but also for digestion; so
carbonated. In the olden days whenever you went to someone’s home, they
will offer buttermilk with salt, which is another sparkling drink only.
Young kids always feel surprise at everything they see.
Q5 What is the biggest mind blow ever?
KR Widespread mercury poisoning occurred in rural Iraq in
1971–1972, when grain treated with a methylmercury-based fungicide that was
intended for planting only was used by the rural population to make bread,
causing at least 6530 cases of mercury poisoning and at least 459 deaths
(see Basra poison grain disaster). Which is blowing thy mind?
