I was being mean about the tax money. Course, NBC parent company is GE
and they had reported losses and who knows what the future would hold.

The H for Hitler made me laugh. I remember the weird Hitler and the
occult show. Discovery on Sundays have been showing Todd Browning's
human deformity interest stories. People morbidly obese, a man without
a face and such have given the cable channel something for the
evening. What made matters worse is one of the animal channels did the
same thing, animal deformities.

Since when did the History channel support ghost hunting and ufo
searches as history? Most of the shows on that channel offers no real
historical relevance.

So now we will see that if History channel does not offer history then
SyFy will be offering its own version of the Betty Broderick story.

I have said on a panel at Dragon Con that the SciFi channels really
makes its money in the dreadful cheap movies they make. These films
are very big hits in the Asian and Middle east markets. Maybe that is
why they are changing. SciFi actually packages this films as front
line films and they sell extremely well. So who knows maybe the feeble
excuse of making shows with good stories will really push away from
science fiction as we know it.
