Of all the articles I have ever seen on SciFi.com, this one had the most comment - ever, and they were not positive at all. One person's comment was basically that this is what you get when you hire someone with an MBA and no respect for the 'product'. The language in press release says that the new name is "portable across all non-linear digital platforms". Wow. I think they just got tired of people asking what wrestling has to do with 'Sci-Fi'; now they can say, "That's moot! Wrestling maynot be 'Sci'Fi', but it sure is 'SyFy'! Can't argure that it isn't, can you?" I get that 'Sci-Fi' isn't trademarkable, while 'SyFy' is, but it's still pretty weak.
