I've read the first two trades of The Walking Dead but that's it. When you have seen as many zombie/zombi/Dead movies, you get harder to impress. I mean, I understand that TWD is the ne-plus-ultra of zombie comics, but I'd rather throw Zombi 2 in the DVD player than watch a series based on it. Nevermind the fact that my wife would never watch this!
Of course, like I said I only read the first two trades. So I will try to give this series a chance on either OnDemand or if AMC shows their shows online. I guess AMC is like TNT and they are allowed to use profanity, now? Lame. The main character, he's a Southerner, right? A Southerner would never say "Highway 85." He'd say "I-85" or just "85." Saying "Highway 85" is as bizarre as him saying "The Eight-Five" like they would in California.
