I've had a droid-x for work purposes for a couple weeks. It's the greatest work phone I've ever had. I love my iPhone for personal use I think email is easier to read because of all my outlook folders in the iPhone. The major flaw with the iPhone i find is the OS releases destroy the use of my phone. I updated to 4.0 and my 3g was unusable I then went to 4.1 and things were good for about a week and now my phone is slower than a pentium II.
Back to the Droid, it's fast, snappy, the market works well for me, there are tons of apps, I rooted it and run better backups, I can created a hotspot on the fly when I need too at no extra charge. I'm still getting used to the twitter client but overall it's a great phone. I enjoy the driving features it offers when I mount it in my car. I'm able to actively see the traffic with no lag and judge the best route home. It's saved me time and that's precious when it takes an hour to get home you leave work at 5 and your 10 month old goes to bed at 7. Just a couple of thoughts.
