Did you physically move anything near your router when you did this reboot? I had a computer that couldn't see the wifi at all the other day even though it was 5 feet from the router. After much head scratching, reconfiguring, diddling with antennas and cursing I solved the issue by moving a stack of dvd's that was in my way. Turned out that the dvd's were blocking the signal. Sometimes it isn't the software settings; it's the physical setting.
