I'm with you here Luke. The thing i most love about the first Iron Man film was the fact that i expected so little, but was rewarded with so much! Until Iron Man came out, the Marvel pantheon of heroes had been represented ok, maybe even well, in a fun kind of way for that time. We had seen the Tobey Spider-Man, and Fox's X-Men and these were...good, for that time. But Iron Man showed that there was a lot left and that it could be done VERY WELL. Now, in retrospect the Tobey Spider-Man and Fox X-Men stuff looks pale and thin and most all of us fan boys are hoping Marvel can get the rights to these franchises back to see what they could do with them.
