Jenn, I don't think that that is a shallow comment at all.  For a guy who 
is ostensibly just getting started, he looks like he has been out in the 
field for years.  About the only way that I can rectify it is that while he 
is new to the 00 game, I am pretty sure he is still an officer (maybe not a 
Commander like he is in the books, but I am assuming some sort of officer) 
in the Royal Navy, meaning that he had to have handled some hairy 
situations to get noticed by MI6 in the first place.
 
Although I will say that from a physical standpoint, Craig may be the only 
one of the actors to really possess what Fleming called Bond's "cruel 
jaw."  In line with Serv's comment about his "viscious determination," I 
can totally buy Craig's Bond as a man on a mission just from the set of his 
jawline and his piercing stare.  He's the kind of agent who is called upon 
to (as M says in the novel Moonraker) "put a broadside" into someone.
