Jenn, I don't think that that is a shallow comment at all. For a guy who is ostensibly just getting started, he looks like he has been out in the field for years. About the only way that I can rectify it is that while he is new to the 00 game, I am pretty sure he is still an officer (maybe not a Commander like he is in the books, but I am assuming some sort of officer) in the Royal Navy, meaning that he had to have handled some hairy situations to get noticed by MI6 in the first place. Although I will say that from a physical standpoint, Craig may be the only one of the actors to really possess what Fleming called Bond's "cruel jaw." In line with Serv's comment about his "viscious determination," I can totally buy Craig's Bond as a man on a mission just from the set of his jawline and his piercing stare. He's the kind of agent who is called upon to (as M says in the novel Moonraker) "put a broadside" into someone.
