So, again for a third time, I just finished watching Quantum Leap series. Maybe my memory fails me, like it always does, and the series finale really disappointed me before but this time around the series finale really, really disappointed and depressed me. I sort of remember watching the episode when it first aired way back in 1993 but I don't remember there ever being discussion (mostly because the internet then is not as loud is it is now) of how disappointing the ending was as I have found now today. Just doing a Google search I came upon this interesting blog post:

I would almost have to agree. It was definitely a very unsatisfying ending and am now waiting for a season 6 to fix it, which, of course, will never happen.
