Ever been nerved by FART PE?

I am close to another temper-outburst, but decided not to let FART PE spoil my
sunday
and have a nice cup of tea first, then analyze this problem with you guys.

Haha, it really works. Just a zip of my tea brought the smile back to my face.

Well, what do I use FART PE for?

It's practical in combination with DRIVEIMAGE XML to install full images of Win
XP
SP3 (selfmade, not the official crap) with a bunch of software all ready-to-work
within 30 mins on a fresh formatted THiNKPAD.

Well so far so good, but how come FART PE crashes so often on THiNKPADS? I have
verified that I use the latest version of FART PE, I even contacted the coder
of DRIVEIMAGE XML, but still no solution in sight.

Now I need this done by tomorrow morning, I have the image ready, but seem to be
unable to actually have DRIVEIMAGE XML copy all the crap under BART PE.

Now this: When I install a crap-WinXP system for only running DRIVEIMAGE XML, it
works, when I copy the image to D:\ and then install the image using the same
program,
it is just that I must not use DVD-access -> then it crashes...

But as soon as I want to access the DVD where the image is on, FART PE hangs.

Note: I have 6 THiNKPADs here, and the problem seems IBM-related. FART PE
behaves
the same on all THiNKPADs: It freezes as soon as you want to specify the path
to the DVD where the image is on.

Hope I have come clear enough. Hoping for your always-good assistance
