My laptop is a T22 T'pad, with Wxp SP3 installed on it. Works fine, but I have a problem.
It turns out that Wxp does not support my hp PSC500 All-in-One printer/copier/scanner. I want to revert back to Win 2K Pro which does support it. I have other machines running Wxp so don't need it on this laptop. The problem comes up when I try to install W2K from the CD. Even though I have the BIOS set to boot from the CD drive, it doesn't. I've tried making up a boot disk set of floppies and booting from there. Goes fine until the end of the fourth floopy when it says it can't find the CD. Of course it can't, the floppy drive is still in place. Swapping out the drives doesn't help, as the at that point, the boot disk is only giving me one choice, Press F3 to Quit. Nothing about trying again with the CD drive in place. How can I get W2K Pro back on this machine? Any ideas would be appreciated.
