I have a 600E and a 600x which both have a pair of 256 MB sticks in them.
Coming on top of the 64 MB soldered in that makes for a total of 576 MB
although My Computer Properties reports it as 579 MB and change.
Per James Maugham's advice to me on this List many years ago that's as high
as you can go.
As to where you might buy those sticks I'd be inclined to start with Crucial
Kahlon.com is another very good vendor for memory with great prices. I'm
a happy customer.
