Hello,

A 250GB SSD would definitely be nice for holding an operating system and
applications. Unfortunately, I have a data set of about 240GB that I
travel with, and suspect others have similar needs.

Perhaps we will see a return of a three-"spindle" ThinkPad with a smaller
SSD for OS and apps, a larger HDD for data and an optical drive? A lot
of people seemed to like the A31p model, which I understand had a similar
configuration.

I'll bet that news from Crucial is pushing them to get this out... and get
the price down.

With a 250 GB solid state SSD drive for $250, the Seagate folks are going to
have problems making money on an external drive.
