Hello,

There seem to be two common causes for a BAD_POOL_CALLER 0X000000C2
STOP error:

1. Bad RAM.

2. Faulty device driver.

To troubleshoot the first scenario, I would suggest booting the
600X from a memory tester like MemTest86+ (available from
http://www.memtest.org/) and letting it run overnight to see if
any problems are found. If so, replace the defected DIMM.

For the second scenario, I would suggest looking for recently
updated drivers, and then seeing if perhaps going back to the
previous version will help.

There seems to be a specific NetBIOS issue that can cause this
problem as well. Details, including a hotfix, are available from
Microsoft's web site at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/820765.

Aryeh Goretsky

Last few days I receive BSOD with diagnostic
 BAD_POOL_CALLER
0x000000C2 0x00000099 0x[varies] 0x00000000 0x00000000

googling doesn't readily reveal anything precisely my case and
I don't know enough to differentiate hardware vs software errors.
I'd appreciate any guidance how to interpret the screen error
message, useful references to read, or -- gasp -- even the
answer to my prayers as to what is starting to go wrong

tks for all help
