Aryeh mentioned in his first message that he's running Vista x64 and Ubuntu x64, so the XP issues aren't relevant here. Aryeh, just go into the BIOS and turn off the silly extended memory test. While you're there, take a look at the help panel on that BIOS page where it says "Recent operating systems usually do not require Extended Memory Initialization." :-) Problem solved. -Mike
