Ok. I found the battery and charged it to where the bios update would proceed. (Paul is correct that the update won't proceed if it does not find a charged battery.
All appeared to go well, but on restart the machine hangs. It will not boot or respond to F1 to enter setup. Looks bad to me. Any ideas?
