Hello,

I search the archives and found a message I sent about the 600 DVD Drives to
jog my memory. I ran into this problem and had to buy a newer drive and swap
the plastic pieces.

If it is the 600 2x DVD then it does not recognize DVD-R.
If it is the 600 6x DVD then it does read DVD-R but has problems with DVD-RW.
