I agree that it would be great for the signature to be automatically
stripped off. On the flip side, it is too bad list members can't be
bothered to stip off the signature in their replies manually. It
doesn't seem to be that hard.

I filter out emails that *start* with an html part, because they
are 99% spam, but ironically today I had to fish one out of the
archive which my ISP kindly provides. It was the
acknowledgement from Lenovo Canada for the purchase of a T510.
It started [left angle bracket]html[right angle bracket] !
