I am sorry to hear this! I have personal experience doing this... Besides the advice you've already gotten, figuring out a way to run warmish--not hot--air into the space where the keyboard was in a great idea. The keyboard comes out fairly easily. A hair drier on low, situated far enough away such that a warm breeze is hitting it will do well. I have a friend with one of those $5000+ ovens, which can go down to 110F or so, and we used that for drying out some watered ipods, so thats an option. Just don't do as another friend did, and not understand that their oven couldnt go below 250F or so, and melt the plastic off a radio, resulting in a Dali-FM radio..... Be patient, as it can take a while for the water to all go away. I'd wait two days. --STeve Andre' _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad
