Hi,

... reporting on the sad thing that happened.

I decided to wait for two days... A week was too much, I needed the
computer.

In any case, I plugged it in, no battery, only electricity, on the docking
station, and it seems to work for now!
I am not sure if I should take any other precautions, now that I have
already turned it on. Is there any testing that I have the laptop go through
to check if everything is really alright?

I did not put in the battery, but I don't think it should matter.

Thank you all guys for all of your advice, it was worth gold.

Jerr.
