Yesterday I was copying a file to another machine via USB and my x61s froze. I tried to reboot, but other than the drive whirring and some of the status lights blinking, nothing happened (screen black, no fan, etc.).
A few hours later, I tried rebooting and I got to the POST and fingerprint reader screen, but no further (hitting ESC to enter PW by keyboard didn't do anything) Yet later the machine started normally. I then tried to copy my file by USB and it froze again.
