I was looking for a user guide for my soon(?)-to-arrive T510. I tried a few ways, but none was better than the one given in the FAQ:
>To see all product manuals, hardware maintenance manuals, user guides, >etc. for an IBM system go to: > ><http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?doctypeind=8&template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FonlinePublicationsLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo> > What I ended up with was the HMM and this: "ThinkPad T410s, T410, T510, and W510 Service and Troubleshooting Guide" after the xiv pages of warnings there was ... not a lot of information relevant to the computer. It's more like "how to contact Lenovo about your computer" in 44 pages. There was also a downloadable application called Access Help. I did not install it because I had a feeling it might replace the analogous application on my X32, if it installed at all. So is this The End? of User Guides? -- happy Jonathan Berry and Erika http://members.shaw.ca/berry5868/fun.htm _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad
