What I meant was that each OS has a different set of trash with it, and
though I've never checked, I suspect that later revisions of say XP have
had new versions of things put on it, since Lenovo does add later patches
to the machines over time.

Thus, the trash you have on one machine might not be the same as another
model, plus the time factor.

I'm no expert, but aren't "upgrades" almost by definition graftings onto a
pervious Windows, as opposed to the scrub method of install?
