Presumably (or perhaps) they are paid to put the trial versions there.
When the motivation deviates from "make the best PC for my customer" it's
annoying. Heck, if it's about getting paid to put junk on, they could even
offer a clean OS at a premium:
1) Lenovo's Win7 build ($0 extra)
2) Clean Win7 ($x extra)
I think many tech-minded folks similarly dislike all the unwanted stuff, and
it just adds a layer of hassle to getting a new PC...
