Hi I finally got XP and Mint Linux installed on my ThinkPad 240X without any built in cd drives.
One thing I have noticed, especially under XP is that I get no sound. I am sure I did yesterday (not 100% sure). Device Manager shows no problems and the volume control in task bar is set to full. Any ideas? When I play an MP3 it plays but I hear nothing. I also get no startup/shutdown sounds.
