I bought a new battery with the help of a fellow listmember. Is there anything I can do with the old (dead) one other than put it out for battery disposal?
IOW, does anyone break them open and replace the cells, or do something else with them? It's a 3-cell (?) slim X300 battery, FRU 42T4518. If there's nothing else I'll just toss it in the approved receptacle.
