And / or buy the connector on ebay and solder that one in
This is a very common  problem
Hence all those ebay sellers of power connectors .

I asked about this problem last month and IIRC RayBay told me the power connector was soldered to the motherboard.

The Hardware Maintenance Manual will list all of the planars that came in
the T61 models.
