I have several T40 and T41 and maybe a few T42 Thinkpads. I'm not selling them here, per se, but I'm more interested in figuring out whether the BGA video (or any other) issues would bite me in the arse if I were to sell these.
I'm just afraid I would be preparing a working laptop (after a long-enough dormant state) for resale, not find any flaws (especially with respect to video), advertise it as such, and then have the buyer reply saying there's no video.
