Any T61/p with nVidia GPU and build date prior to July of 2008 should be avoided, generally speaking. Machines with a later build date are fine.
All T61 models with Intel integrated graphics are safe. Models with Penryn (T8100 through T9300) CPUs are considered more desirable than ones with Merom (T7100-7700) CPUS. HTH.
