What I'd like to see are say 500-ishGB drives going for about $200. Then
I'll be interested.
Dealnews has had a few 128 gig SSDs for less than $128 after rebate,
though some of the comments on the selling sites are less than flattering.
I'm with you Paul. My 500 gig drive is about 3/4 full, because I carry
around everything, so 128 gigs won't cut it for me, and the 256 SSDs are
still north of $300.

If you shop around, rebates can be had to get a 120GB SSD for $140 now.

Any X220 will take an mSATA SSD. It goes in the slot where a WWAN card would
go. The keyboard and palmrest have to be removed to access that slot. Lenovo
has a video at http://lenovoservicetraining.com
The native 7200 rpm HD in my X220 is working very well, so I haven't seen
the need yet to spend $200 on an Intel 80GB mSATA - which would be the
minimum capacity I'd install - just to get a few seconds faster boot.
