For the past two days the dot-matrix printer on LPT1 endlessly prints a 15-line batch file (which I've now deleted but it keeps going). I've gone through dozens of pages of paper hoping some buffer would empty, and rebooting does not cure this either. I've just had to shut down the printer, so I've lost an important capability.
