Actually, I noticed from another thread in this group that someone had
it got things to work - incoming and outgoing - by changing the
setting in the Webmail - Hotmail,  Mode section from Hotmail Live (new
website) to WebDav.  I tried it - it worked!  Fantastic!!  Thanks to
all for getting me back "on line" and 1 out of 10 for Microsoft for
once again stuffing the punters!  In the circumstances, I won't bother
you with any log files if that's OK with you.  Could version 19b34
default to WebDav to help all the other poor sufferers out there?
