Ok, I'll try:
My email address is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I have always been able to click on Thunderbird mail program, and my
emails have automatically downloaded.
Suddenly I could no longer download mail by clicking on "Get Mail".
The error message states "sending of password did not succeed. Mail
server pop3.sympatico.ca responded: Invalid user name or password".
Yet, I could still send mail with Thunderbird.

All email folders except "Junk" and "Trash" were empty, and I had a
lot of mail saved in these folders.

I can, however receive and send mail using Outlook Express.

Support at Sympatico (which is Bell Canada's Internet system), worked
for almost 2 hours and couldn't solve the problem. He claimed it must
be a problem with Thunderbird. I reinstalled Tbird but it did not fix
the problem.
Thanks, Bev
