Then you are in the wrong forum - as I said earlier this forum is about accessing Hotmail, Yahoo, GMail etc in Thunderbird only.
That being said ... Since it is working in Outlook Express please take a very careful look at the settings you have for your account in Outlook Express. Note carefully: The POP server name The account name The POP port being used The security setting Then go back into Thunderbird and make very sure that all the settings are exactly as you have them in Outlook Express. I hope that you find a difference between the two that, once made in Thunderbird, gets you going again. If this does not help you then you need to post your problem for more advice in the main Mozillazine Thunderbird forum: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=39 On Dec 5, 6:49 am, foxfire <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Ok, I'll try: > My email address is [EMAIL PROTECTED] > I have always been able to click on Thunderbird mail program, and my > emails have automatically downloaded. > Suddenly I could no longer download mail by clicking on "Get Mail". > The error message states "sending of password did not succeed.
