No error message(s) in Error Console.

The problem appears to be that WebMail continues listening on its
ports (netstat reveals this), but the Webmail services are in some
indeterminate state. When Shredder then attempts to connect to the
Webmail service, the socket connection succeeds, but the protocol
communication fails (Webmail service never responds). Eventually,
Shredder returns with "Connection to server localhost timed out."

If the Webmail service still shows "Running", as opposed to "Error",
and you attempt to stop the service, it remains in a state of
"Waiting", indefinitely and a restart of Shredder is required. If the
service shows "Error", no action is possible and a restart of Shredder
is also required.

Therefore, from what I have observed, the extension itself would need
to be debugged to see why it's hanging up; and that I don't know how
do, unfortunately.

As noted, I'm using Shredder nightlies. I can't recall if I've seen
this issue with official Thunderbird; though, given what I have
observed, I see not reason why the issue would not also exist when
Webmail is used with Thunderbird.

Thanks
