I have set up Thunderbird 2.0.0.21 with webMail 1.3.2 webmail-hotmail 1.2.22 I have checked the account settings. And I am sure they are right. I use port 1044 for hotmail. Mostly everthing works. I can sent mail and receive isp mail local account and yesterday i downloaded all my messages from hotmail, hundreds of messages, ( although thunderbird defaulted to delete these from the server which I didn't want it to do - I have now set the options in Thunderbird correctly).
But today now I cant get messages from Hotmail - I get an error, as follows, An error occurred with the POP3 mail server. Mail server localhost responded: when I hit GET mail. I have got dumps from the options in the add-ons but I cant see any reference to a problem. If I disconect Hotmail from the GET request there is no error and the local pop3 isp O2 account gives me messages. So there is something wrong connecting to hotmail. I can send messages to Hotmail with no problem.
