There are two parts to the webmail extensions, a general webmail 
extension, and a specific extension for the service you're using. I 
believe that the general extension handles communication with the main 
Thunderbird application, and the service specific part handles 
communications with the relevant mail service website. Whichever way it 
works, you need both parts.
