I Found that option, you mention, giving choices of "Live - New Site", "Old Site", and "Webdav". I Backed Up All My Hotmail Folders to local folders (2,800 worth) and Changed Setting to New Site Live, then to Old Site, (Restarting Thunderbird 2 each time) and I still get the same error messages.
I use Hotmail POP on my Mobile Phone, and also on my SonyPalm UX50 on WiFi, but I use my AOL and Hotmail accounts as I can access the data from anywhere, including Junk/Spam. I had stopped using Hotmail, until Webmail came along, and then started using it more. I think it is unfair if Microsoft turns around and says, to the world, and to the largest group of email account users, that you cannot access the Junk, Sent, folders without using Microsoft Software. Am I wrong, or have I got the wrong end of the stick. I have Habu extension that forwards all my Junk/spam, in Thunderbird, to a selection of reporting agencies, and Kaspersky Anti Spam. Yahoo allows me to turn off all anti spam, and they all come to me, and out of maybe 100-100 emails a day, from that account, maybe 3 or 4 are spam, but not put in the the junk box, however, maybe one a week, that is not spam, may be put in the spam box. So will we still have access to Junk and outbox, despite Microsoft saying we won't? :-( Chris Clifton wrote: > You can still use the extension, but the "Webdav" option will no longer > work.
