I am using windows 7 on a 64 bit with TB 3.0.4, webmail 1.3.6 and webmail-yahoo 1.4.6. Thanks to a previous thread, I was able to get Thunderbird to work with a yahoo test account. I am now trying with the actual account, and I continue to get the above timeout error. The connection to my localhost times out.
I think the login is the problem, not the timeout, because it's timeing out while logging in. Logging in shouldn't take much time. However, to cover all the bases, I changed the mailnews timeout length from 100 to 600 following these instructions: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Modify_Thunderbird_settings Nothing good happened anyway.
