With this version (1.2.30b1), TB starts downloading messages (on the bottom of the screen, I can see how many new messages there are on the server), but then the warning about the RETR command appears... I checked the source code of mails at hotmail and indeed: a page full of meaningless symbols :-s So it must be microsoft who can fix the problem. I will try to contact them about this. Anyway, many thanks for the help!
