You're not using the extension, you're trying to use Yahoo's POP server, which you're not allowed to use unless you pay Yahoo. You could try deleting the Yahoo account that you have set up in Thunderbird, and then creating a new account in TB. This time, though, when TB asks you what type of account, select "webmail" not POP. For Thunderbird 2 you can use the instructions here <http://webmail.mozdev.org/setup.html>. Thunderbird 3 helpfully tries to set up the account as a POP account and looks up the settings for you (I've just tried with mine!). Unfortunately the automatic settings are wrong for use with the extensions. Set the account up manually using the settings on the instructions for TB2. You may even be able to edit the settings for the account you already have set up, but it'sprobably easier to delete and start from scratch.
