I have my yahoo account set up with yahoo imap and it only works sometimes for me. It always downloads messages when I start it up, but when it's left running sometimes it downloads new messages, sometimes it doesn't. I have tried everything I can find searching the topic online. Extensions "synconarrival", "webmail" adding "INBOX." to the advance settings, using "imap-ssl.mail.yahoo.com" & "imap.mail.yahoo.com". Noting works consistently all of the time. My gmail account works with no problem.
