There have been at least one other with the same problem with using TB6. Found a post under Thunderbird support forum about it. No solution as of yet.
If you are checking via pop3 or webmail at times, trying making sure the leave message on server is checked in those account server settings; meanwhile, I going try to duplicate the problem too...so far it working okay for me. Eugene
