I have several TW's (ver. 2.2.5) installed and stored on a network drive. I work with the files using Firefox 2.0.x. Autosave is turned on. Sometimes after adding a new tiddler (which activates the autosave) the save procedure fails for some reason. If that failure only resulted in the loss of the new tiddler that was just added, it wouldn't be that bad.
However, when this particular error happens, the entire contents of the TW file are gone. I'm left with an empty html file. If I open the file in Notepad, there's literally nothing in the file. Is this just an inherent risk associated with TW or am I experiencing a unique problem? I do have auto backups turned on as well and can recover a version of the TW as it existed prior to the file saving failure, although generally the most recent auto backup file is also an empty file. ~ Roger --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
