The Personal Brain software project had a feature like this on one of their releases. The model was 'pinning' - like the sticking pins in a cork board. (they removed the feature, lots of people complained: I quit my "Brain" for 100% TiddlyHabbit) For those TiddlyFans who are interesting in mindmapping and Personal Brain (what a dreadful name for a software project - also using terms like 'thoughts' , its a violation of the language and somhow a violoation of the mind (mini rant over)) VismoWiki is an exciting development (is is for me anyway) good work!
